Right, we have until next Thursday 18/3/10 to devise a route for the forthcoming MSG race.

Ben and myself are planning on having a bimble about Tunstall Thursday night from 7:30pm to get a little bit of a plan together. If a couple of the race whippets fancy tagging along to join in the planning feel free and obviously the same goes for the remainder of the trailbuilding com'

This is a rough ride to give us something to work with in regards to the loop as we need to sort it pronto.

I don't think I'm going to be able to make a ride this thursday but I'm about to help at the weekend, I had a ride round on Sunday to start to put some ideas together and it's not going to be easy this time as I'm not sure how much of the last race I dare use yet as it may not have recovered in time. Why do we have to have something by the 18th? as that's an awfully tight time scale and I suspect anything you have by then will have changed a lot by race day.

Mark

Fair comments Mark :)

The deadline is due to the route submission to the FC

If you have a route kind of planned already as such, im more than happy to go with what you already have, I wasnt sure whether you were going to be able to do this race route or not.

And besides you know what your doing, and I well....don't

I will try and get there tomorrow evening depending on how I feel. I've got a bit of a cold coming on so this may help clear it. I will bring my GPS if that will help.

Found a fantastic new section this afternoon with the help of my stepdaughter I must confess.......the biggest bumps you'll see in the forest that flow a treat, and I can so remember bouncing through them on the motorised bike in the late 90's (they are that big).......it'll be a really great addition to the MSG course and the future TROG loop 2...... i think its mega......looking forward to sharing my findings..... :D :D :D

The man's on fire! If it is anything like the rest of the MSG loop I rode on Thursday, I can't wait! The MSG course is an absolute beauty (but I fear that there wasn't as much in the way of fireroad for overtaking opportunities)
